Muslim double standard

I was asked to put up a collection of anti-Isreali--and in some cases, plainly and horribly anti-semitic--cartoons drawn by Arabs on the subject of Isreal and Palestine. I have decided not to do so. I cannot see what good it would do. It would not help make the point that some Arabs have used highly offensive imagery to critique Isreal. Everyone knows this exists. Muslim anti-semitism exists, too--even outside the Isreali Arab context. Those African-Americans and European-Americans with an ingrained hatred of Jews in a fully American context carry that straight into Islam with them and recontextualize it in a new language served up by Arab co-religionists rabid about Jews because of Isreal. I've heard it and seen it myself, plenty. I've also heard Jews and others be offensively racist against Muslims, Blacks, Mexicans, Persians, Christians, etc. (I think my favorite personally was when I was a guest at a friend's Passover dinner and a member of the family insulted me for being a filthy Christian in Yiddish thinking I would not know what was said. Oops! I knew enough Yiddish and I was also a reform Jew). So I guess my point is that I'm not going to be part of that cycle.
